NEW: Career Path! What is it and how do I check it?

If you are on version 2.3.1, you may have noticed a shiny new frame around your profile picture and your stars have changed colors. This is because we have added a new system called Career Path! The higher you are in the path, the better bonuses you will get and the better your profile frame will be! Let's get started! ✨

If you tap on your profile, you will see that there are three tabs: Profile, Career and Titles. 

Profile

This is your brand new profile page. You can now change your cafe name from here instead of from Settings. Chefs, cashiers, achievements, cookbook and Take a Photo button are still here as well as the button to open or close your cafe. In this page, you can also see your current chef title and how many stars you have completed. You start out as a New Chef and work your way up!

Attention: One of the biggest changes here is the star system. The old star system where your total star rating was determined by various categories such as your Decoration, Capacity, Fun Machines etc is replaced by a brand new system. Now, you gradually get more stars as you complete Career tasks and earn better and better titles.

Careers

This is the second tab on your profile and here you can check your Career progress. If you complete all the tasks, you will earn a star and go right to the next star! Each completed star gives you a special bonus which helps you grow your cafe. Once you complete all the stars, you will rank up and earn a new title! So for example if you were a New Chef, you will get the Rising Chef title. 

At the end of each rank, you will receive a unique Vending Machine that has never been in the game before. You can display them in your cafe to show off your career rank!

With this system, we have also added a new feature: Luxury Points! Long story short, some items have Luxury Points depending on their value. Some of the Career tasks will require you to raise your total Luxury Points. This means that you should collect items with small diamonds next to them. Check the picture below for an example:

The Shamrock Counter pictured here gives 35 Luxury Points. You can also check your total Luxury Points from the number indicated next to the Rainbow Market title. (Similarly, you can now check your total Celebrity Levels from the Celebrity Panel and total Party Levels from the Parties panel)

Lastly, we have the Titles tab, which shows all the titles you can earn during your Career Path. You can check which star gives which reward here.

For this update, you can go up to Phenomenal Chef rank! The higher ranks will be available soon, so keep your eyes peeled 👀
