There shouldn't be a limit on gold cards ( expansion cards)

I've collected 1000 of the gold expansion cards but can't collect any more. I keep winning more and they animate like they're going to my collection but they just disappear...makes it frustrating to keep playing and winning them only to not get to keep them because it is apparently called at 1000
