Tasks in spending Gold Favors

Hi.  I'd like to say that while I don't mind spending blue Favors during competition to buy things out of the special items , I don't appreciate the excess requirements to spend Gold Favors for this task.  I haven't been able to buy anymore sets which require Gold Favors and I don't think this is fair!  I haven't been able to save up my Good Favors to progress in the game!  I will appreciate your reconsidering the excessive demands on spending Gold Favors during competition.  Thank you!
