Tournament task

Are the tournament task difficulty depends on chef rank?

 I'm holding my rank for the marathon challenge(as they are grouping us base on rank not level which i find unfair)  Im planning to rank up now so i can get more exp but i'm not sure if my teammates are getting ridiculous task like 1000+ cook and serve dishes because they are in a higher rank.
