Footprints with red X on counters

It means your customers can’t reach your counters, and will need to rearrange so your customers can get access to those counters.

Thanks for posting Marcy’s ChiTown. I’m not sure who posted the answer but once I moved my counters around, the footprints went away.
What nerve of the developers in the first place. How much space do they think we have? Expansions are few and far in between.

They are trying to be helpful. It is better to know how to fix it rather than stare at the negative customer comments or get the lower Cafe ratings. I had that problem because an item had popped out out of inventory and was blocking the way it wasn't about expansion it was about rearranging.
