Updated version of Special Event

The game is designed to cook dishes to upgrade and decorate your own cafe to your liking. The new special event decorations can no longer be chosen by the player to decorate to their liking. It offers random and unwanted items. I enjoy choosing my own cafe decorations for my cafe. Why have our freedom to choose been taken away? Terrible update change. It takes away the fun to work towards specific items you want in your cafe...Please give us back our freedom to choose

Theres no way i can ever take advantage of flooring or walls at all from special events with the new changes. This is ridiculous. Why would you take this from us?

It is ridiculous. Don't "fix" what isn't broken. Also, can we have more options for golden gloves? You get 5 blue gloves during catering but only 2 golden gloves? Why? You can get 1 blue glove when you spin the wheel and no gold gloves as all. We're forced to spend cash to get them when they randomly pop up in the market and we have to wait a week to "maybe" get some during the tournament "IF" our teams win. Come on...make it fair.

I'm just coming here to agree with everyone else! I really really dislike the new way the special events were made. I actually prefer picking out my own items. I've been playing for almost two years now and some of these events are being repeated, I don't mind of course because I understand there are new players who should get the chance but I really want to pick items that I wasn't able to get the last time the event happened, not receive random items chosen for me that I may not want or like, or random items I already have plenty of and don't want to get this time around because I want to get other items I didn't get last time. Please change back to the old way!

I agree! It’s ridiculous that we don’t get to choose what we want for our own stores! I am refusing to buy the boxes and am just saving the pretzel points in the hopes they change it back to the way it was. I suggest nobody buys any boxes and maybe they’ll get the message and switch it back.

I agree with you! I want to choose the item that i want. I've received items that i don't like :( I'm not going to buy any boxes because it's ridiculous.

I do not like the change either. I like to pick what I want to decorate my cafe. You’ll never get enough floor tiles or wall coverings this way. Please change back!

Bring back the freedom to choose please. So displeased with the October fest. My work yielded what I already had or didn't want.

The special events were okay the way they were. I really think special event items should be more obtainable, though. Especially since we can't pick our items anymore, and you only offer 5 of one item at a time, in the Rainbow Market. The golden favors are ridiculously hard to obtain, especially when you are not part of a club. The blue favors are more easily obtained, but anything worth having in the Rainbow Market, is ridiculously over valued. So, we can only hope we get what we want during the special events, the golden and blue favors are hard to obtain, or useless, and the Rainbow Market is a joke. There's very little we're left with, and the standard items in the shop, are boring, the tiles and walls don't really go together well, furniture is boring, unless you have a lot of coins and cash to spend (even then, there's very few that are worth having,) and the cafe equipment is pretty overpriced, along with being boring.

I agree also with everyone else. Does developer read these post? Or do we need to submit a ticket about it? I love to change my cafe with each event with new floors/walls etc. But cant do that anymore. So no need to play that much anymore because of this change. Hope old one comes back. If I need to submit a ticket pls let me know. Thnx

Ugh... how have they not fixed this? They've ruined the best part of the game. This is devastating :( do they just not care at all?

I would like to agree with everyone else. Please take our requests seriously. Not being able to choose the special event items really takes all of the fun out of the special events. Please reinstate letting us choose which items to be excited about and save up for. :-)

I started playing about 2 months ago. I have bought multiple Eva's packages because I very much enjoyed the game and wanted to be able to decorate. I was very excited about Halloween and Christmas coming up. Then the Special Events changed. During the OctoberFest I got numerous decoration items (which I can't use since I don't have room). I got one table, 2 Barrel Chairs, 4 wallpaper and 9 (not nine sets, 1 set of nine) tiles.
This makes it pointless to try to have a themed holiday cafe since you can't choose what will fit and what you like. How on earth do I create an "OctoberFest" theme cafe with one table and 2 chairs?

Concordo com os outros, é muito chato não ser capaz de escolher os itens no evento especial, fica só dando objetos aleatórios e que não queremos. Muito melhor é poder escolher.

I just paid a lot of money for cafe cash and now i dont want to play it as they took one of the best features away😠 Bring back the old special event format.

Are you are you kidding me? I used to collect the stoves from the special events now all I get is a stupid wall thingy which I will never use. BRING BACK THE OLD STYLE OF SPECIAL EVENT PRIZES!

I agree. I liked much better when special events were buy what you want, save up and get an item you want. . What is anybody going to do with one floor tile and one tree? I used to look forward to that and also charge my special event collector just to get what I preferred. I won't do that anymore unless it gets changed back. Waste of time.

Please we all would like too choose are item's. I am constantly given items the game will not let me use such as the pumpkin juicer we can only have 2 in our cafe I was given 3 and I already had 2 in my cafe, cash counters, doors, stoves, serving counters there is a limit to how many you can have. We like to decorate with the items but we can not get enough of a item to complete the look we are going for. Please allow us to choose the items we want.

Also, the game doesn't give you the opportunity not only to use Dean special vending machine but if you have too many in your inventory you can't sell them either so you can so to speak get your money back. I would also like to see more seasonal items like the Four Seasons instead of just having holidays in there.

All these complaints and they go and raise the price from 40,000 up to 50,000

Exactly! I don't get why they'd go and raise the price even after every one has voiced their opinion of not liking this version of the event in the first place, raising the price will only make people hate it more!

This is so ridiculous. For the current special event, Queen Eva's Royal Ball, I have opened about 20 boxes. I received the door in one box, a set of nine tiles in another, and the pay till in a third. All the rest, the other 17, have been decorations... I don't give a crap about the decorations. I don't want them. The update to the special events was absolutely BS. 17 boxes at 50,000 per box, of nothing but stupid decorations. Between the special events update, and how difficult it is to obtain gold favors, this game is just frustrating instead of fun.

I agree with everyone. It doesn't matter if you don't open a box because item tokens don't transfer between event. You would just lose them. We are cooking any way. What I don't get is why the old system, which had chefs cook towards a goal, possibly spend real money to buy game cash to speed up cooking or allow more higher token earning, was changed. If you have no choice you cook the bare minimum especially higher level players who have maxed out most dishes. The decorating becomes the exciting part of Cafe life. If it's random new players totally miss out on creating personalized fun cafes. Plus the Cafe meter which measures a cafes level will be out of balance... No 5 star rating. I think you have lost a lot and with cafeland original closing you are not drawing players to join this game.
