Sauce ingredients

I am unbelievably frustrated. I have visited 30+ friends in the past 2 days and have only got five ingredients. Is this happening to anyone else? I have not been playing the game long, maybe a month, but I really enjoy it and do not want to quit but it's impossible to complete certain tasks if I am not getting the ingredient drips while visiting. I never can understand why developers make such ridiculous changes to games. It's sad. Hoping it's fixed so I don't have to hunt around for other games
