Serving Dash and Feast O’Clock are two new events introduced with the update 2.64.1. Both events can be opened from the event icon below the screen. The events do not run at the same time. One event ends before the other one starts, with a few hours in between.
In both events, only dishes that are served count toward your progress. Once you accumulate enough progress to complete a step, the reward for that step is granted automatically when you open the event pop-up.
SERVING DASH
In Serving Dash, your progress is based on "Serving Count" and is represented by this cloche icon:
You earn "Serving Count" by serving dishes. Each serving gives you one "Serving Count", so dishes with more servings give more progress. Some buffs, like special sets and special stoves, can increase the "Serving Count" you get.
FEAST O'CLOCK
In Feast O’Clock, your progress is based on "Minutes" and is represented by this alarm clock icon:
"Minutes" are counted using the cooking time of a dish shown in the cookbook and depends on how many minutes it takes to cook that dish. Shortening effects do not change this value (such as using sauces or special stoves), so the "Minutes" you earn are always based on the original cooking time.
