Having Trouble Switching Accounts After the Latest Update?

With our latest update, we've introduced automatic sign-in to make accessing your game account faster and easier. In some cases, however, this can make switching between accounts a little confusing.

What Changed?

The game now automatically signs in using the Google Play Games account available on your device. When this happens, you may see the green Google Play Games banner appear when launching the game.

For New Users:

If your sign-in account in Google Play is not connected to a Cafeland game it will auto-sign and you will stay signed-in.

If the Play Games account you are trying sign-in with already has an account connected to it, we will bring the game to your device before/during tutorial.

Why Can't I Switch Accounts?

If you're trying to switch to another account, the game may already be signed in to the account you're attempting to access.

This can happen when:

Your Google Play Games account is already connected to the account you want to use.
Google Play Games automatically signs you in when the game starts. You might want to change which email Play Games automatically signs you in with.
The account selected in Google Play Games is not connected to a Cafeland game.

How to Switch to a Different Account

For Google Play Games Accounts

Open the Google Play Games app on your device.
Change the default Google account used for sign-in.
Restart the game.
Use the in-game Switch Account option again.

Once the correct Google account is selected in Play Games, the switch option should work as expected.

PS: If you see the "Reconnected to the same account" pop-up when trying to switch. It means the account you signed in with and have open in your device are the same. You have to sign in with the account that has your desired account connected to it to be able to switch.

PS: If you are trying to switch, the account you are trying to switch to must be connected to an account. If it is not, you will be unsuccesful.
